Hi! Welcome to The Healthy Playbook, my name is Allen and I’m the head coach and founder of THP. Let’s start off with a little introduction.

My passion for the health and fitness industry began well over 10 years ago when I was plagued by my own health issues. Ever since then, my health has been priority number one and I attempt to further my health everyday. This lead me to studying a Bachelors of Science at The University of Sydney, where I completed the degree with majors in Nutrition & metabolism, furthermore I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and coach with over 6 years of personal experience and 3 years of professional experiencing. I aim to combine my knowledge and passion in both nutrition and fitness to empower you to make better health decisions and to assist you in making the transition to a healthier life.

The secret to conquering your health is a simple one. To achieve what I call health mastery, it is a combination of 70% diet/nutrition, 30% fitness and 100% lifestyle. This leads to The Healthy Playbook – a step by step guide to health mastery. Without health, we are nothing.

The Healthy Playbook is dedicated to empowering you with a plethora of nutritional and fitness knowledge to assist you in taking control of your own lifestyle in order to achieve health mastery.

The 21st century is plagued with a wide variety of chronic diseases resulting in unnecessary suffering through life. As medical technologies and interventions advance, we as humans can expect to have a much longer lifespan than our predecessors, however even though we are living longer, we are also suffering longer due to a vast array of chronic illnesses that creep into our lives such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, diabetes and hypertension to name a few. These chronic illnesses have taken up their place in society as the world’s leading causes of death as noted by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Fortunately for you, the good news is that you have stumbled across THP and that most, if not all of these chronic diseases are lifestyle based. What this means is that it isn’t too late to begin your journey along the path of prevention and recovery of these various chronic diseases. Please follow the blog as I continue to bring you helpful information to assist you in your journey to health mastery so that you too can live a life without suffering. For those of you who have friends and family that suffer from chronic illnesses please share this blog with them and get them to learn more about the diseases that cripple their lifestyle.

Please take my words to heart and educate yourself about what you can do to live your life to the fullest, in happiness and health. My hope is to slowly educate the world on the importance of lifestyle so that we as a collective force can combat these diseases that plague our lives and force us to surrender to pain and illness.
